Chinese outfit Team KRC has revealed plans to contest next year’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour with a BMW M4 GT3 EVO entered in the Bronze class.

The team is set for its first appearance in the Intercontinental GT Challenge season opener on Feb. 13-15, as it becomes the first team to enter the Australian event with current-generation BMW machinery outside of factory-supported Team WRT.

Drivers for the one-car effort will be revealed at a later date.

KRC has established itself as one of the front-running teams in GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS, with Maxime Oosten and Ruan Cunfan finishing fifth in this year’s drivers’ standings with a trio of podium finishes.

The team also banked a ninth-place overall finish in the Suzuka 1000km, and second in the Bronze category, with Neil Verhagen joining Oosten and Cunfan.
