Newly crowned 24 Hours of Le Mans class winners Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre will join Mathieu Jaminet in Craft-Bamboo Racing’s Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Suzuka 10 Hours in August.
The pairing return to the Hong Kong-based team after competing with it in the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour in February along with Earl Bamber.
Vanthoor and Estre will race in the third round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge with Porsche Young Professional Driver Jaminet, who will test with Craft-Bamboo at Suzuka next week.
“I am really happy to go to Suzuka as I have never been before,” said Vanthoor. “I think it is a track that every driver wishes to go to, so I think it will be a very cool experience.
“I think we need to avenge what happened to us in Bathurst, but it will be a good weekend to join Kevin again and see Mathieu.
“I am really looking forward to the experience with Craft-Bamboo once again.”
None of the three drivers are currently confirmed for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the second IGTC round and preceding event to the Suzuka race, although Vanthoor is expected to be part of the lineup in Team75 Bernhard’s entry in the Belgian enduro.
