Cooper Broll and Tommy Pintos claimed overall victory in the season ending McLaren Trophy America race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which saw championships in all three classes crowned in the inaugural campaign.

Broll took his No. 919 Skip Barber Racing McLaren Artura Trophy EVO to a 3.593-second win over the No. 74 RWE Motorsport entry of Casey Dennis and James Li, who by starting Friday’s 50-minute race, clinched the Pro class championship.

Race 1 overall winners Tim Harvey and Patrick Liddy, of Forte Racing, finished third overall in their Pro-Am class entry that was not eligible to score points over the weekend, although still took class honors.

Pro-Am championship honors went to Motorsports In Action’s Alexandra Hainer and Jesse Lazare, despite a late-race incident for Hainer, who was spun by the No. 10 RWE McLaren of John Dempsey, who received a drive-through penalty for incident responsibility.

Hainer brought her McLaren home second in class.

A fourth place overall finish in Race 2 was enough for James Sofronas to take the Am class win and championship, with GMG Racing also taking the teams’ title, which was wrapped up in Thursday’s race.

Papaya Cup championship honors, meanwhile, went to Brandon Kreutz (Pro-Am) and Stephen Sorbaro (Am).

RESULTS: Race 2
