This weekend, SRO America is bringing its all-new GT Opening Drive to the Miami International Autodrome, working alongside the venue’s Precision Drive Club to create a winter pre-season showcase unlike a traditional test or school.

The four-day program is designed to provide off-season preparation, with a total of 16 cars set to take part.

The GT Opening Drive features a limited number entries to ensure high-quality track time for all participants and a personalized, professional environment for teams and drivers.

The majority of the entires are McLaren Artura Trophy EVO entries, with drivers and teams utilizing the opportunity to test on the track that will serve as the third and fourth rounds of the McLaren Trophy America season this year, in support of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.

The weekend will also serve as an evaluation period for racing licenses.

Competitors will take to the circuit’s extended 1.75-mile layout, which is typically limited to top-tier events and private programs.

Participants will move through a program that mirrors a full race weekend.

Two days of open testing will be followed by a mock competition format featuring practice, qualifying, and races on both Saturday and Sunday.

Throughout the weekend, drivers will also have access to coaching and data analysis through the Precision Drive Club’s premium driver-development resources.
