The 2026 Toyota GR Cup North America series will kick-off at the Grand Prix of Arlington weekend with the NTT IndyCar Series, it has been announced.

The SRO America-run single-make series, which will be in its fourth season, will once again feature seven events and 14 races, with drivers and teams competing in Toyota GR86 race cars for $1 million in purse and prizes.

The 2.73-mile street circuit in Arlington, Texas will kick off the season on March 13-15, with the remainder of the season all on dedicated SRO America weekends.

The series’ championship-deciding weekend will again take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Oct. 9-11.

“We are very pleased with the race calendar we’ve put together for the 2026 Toyota GR Cup Series season,” said TRD customer racing manager Mike Norem.

“While the GR Cup is still a relatively young championship, it has already become one of the most competitive, exhilarating and well-rounded forms of motorsport. We’re looking forward to carrying that momentum into 2026 with this great lineup of events and teams.”
