A total of 16 entries are set for this weekend’s penultimate round of the Blancpain GT World Challenge America season at Road America.
Championship leader Toni Vilander will again team up with Daniel Serra in the No. 61 R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3, after the Brazilian filled in for Miguel Molina at Watkins Glen due to his FIA World Endurance Championship commitments.
Vilander holds a 28-point lead over K-PAX Racing’s Alvaro Parente and Andy Soucek heading into the weekend at the four-mile Wisconsin circuit.
Other changes to the entry list since the last round include the absence of both One11 Competition Ferraris, while Matt Campbell returns to the No. 91 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside Anthony Imperato in the Pro-Am class entry.
The co-driver for Till Bechtolsheimer in the No. 5 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo has yet to be confirmed, despite Trent Hindman’s name appearing on the entry list.
Regular driver Marc Miller is unavailable this weekend due to his Trans Am by Pirelli commitments.
Racers Edge Motorsports’ Martin Barkey and Kyle Marcelli continue to hold command of the Pro-Am class, although has seen their points lead reduced to 21 points to RealTime Racing’s Dane Cameron, following he and Mike Hedlund’s sweep of the weekend at Watkins Glen.
Martin Fuentes, meanwhile, leads GT3 Am and will again be joined by fellow Ferrari Challenge racer Mark Issa.
Track action gets underway on Friday, with the first 90-minute race of the weekend set for Saturday at 2:10 p.m. CT.
