SRO America is set to launch a brand-new multi-viewer streaming experience in partnership with Vbrick and GPX Stream, debuting this weekend at Virginia International Raceway.

This innovative platform will give fans unprecedented control over their race day experience, allowing them to seamlessly switch between multiple live onboard streams in real time for GT World Challenge America powered by AWS while simultaneously accessing the live leaderboard, race broadcast, and Twitch chat.

“This is a huge next step for our digital and broadcast technology,” said Greg Gill, CEO and President of SRO America.

“We are always pushing for more innovative ways to engage with our audience, and by giving them the ability to customize how they watch our races, they get closer to the action than ever before.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Vbrick and GPX Systems to make this happen, and we see this as just the beginning of new interactive viewing options for our paddock and international fanbase.”

Paul Sparta, Vbrick chairman and Random Vandals Racing team principal added:  “As the leading enterprise video platform, Vbrick brings to SRO the same scalable and reliable video experience that we deliver to our corporate customers, which just happens to include almost all the manufacturers in the paddock among many other global enterprises.

“It’s great to extend our longstanding partnership with AWS with the addition of this cool new capability for SRO. Also, working with GPX Stream has been great.”

To deliver live, in-car video feeds from the cockpits of GTWC America race cars, GPX Stream was tasked with deploying its cellular-based live onboard camera system, powered by Sony’s Portable Data Transmitter (PDT-FP1).

The solution provides seamless, real-time video streaming directly from the heart of the action.

Combining robust connectivity, user-friendly operation, and high-performance reliability, the GPX Mobile system featuring the Sony PDT-FP1 is setting a new benchmark for live video and data streaming in the demanding and high-stakes motorsports environment.

This project reflects a broader commitment to innovation within motorsports, as GPX Stream, Sony, Vbrick, and AWS come together to push the boundaries of what is possible with trackside technology.

By leveraging AWS as the foundational cloud infrastructure, the four companies are delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance live broadcast capabilities, data management, and team operations.

These advancements not only elevate the fan experience but also drive the continued growth and technical evolution in GTWC America.

The multi-viewer experience will be available starting with the upcoming races at VIR for all broadcasted GTWC America sessions – and for the remainder of the season, with plans for further expansion in the future.
