An entry list for next week’s final round of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup at Barcelona has been revealed, featuring 60 cars.
It marks a decrease of one car from the previous round of the series at the Nürburgring, with two entries from the penultimate event of the season falling off the grid and a new team joining the series for the first time.
The new entry is the No. 77 McLaren 720S GT3, entered by British outfit Greystone GT in the Silver Cup class for the trio of Jayden Kelly, Zac Meakin and Michael O’Brien.
Conversely, the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R is not participating, with the team instead racing in the clashing Motul Petit Le Mans, while Herberth Motorsports is down to a single Porsche, the No. 92 car, with Tim Heinemann moving across from the No. 91 car to join Alfred Renauer and Ralf Bohn.
The clash with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale accounts for a number of driver changes, including the previously-announced switch at AF Corse, as Yifei Ye steps in for Alessandro Pier Guidi.
Other drivers missing the Barcelona race to be present at Road Atlanta include GetSpeed’s Lin Hodenius, Schumacher CLRT pair Klaus Bachler and Laurin Heinrich, VSR’s Marco Mapelli and Paradine Competition’s Dan Harper.
GetSpeed has called upon Tom Kalendar to replace Hodenius in the No. 6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo; Bachler and Heinrich are replaced by Larry ten Voorde and Alessandro Ghiretti in the No. 22 Schumacher CLRT Porsche; Loris Spinelli replaces Mapelli in the No. 163 VSR Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2; and Formula E star Jake Dennis makes his second outing of 2025 in the No. 991 Paradine BMW M4 GT3 EVO in place of Harper.
Additionally, Alec Udell is no longer available to Steller Motorsport, which instead has recruited Adam Ali to join brother Daniel and Lorcan Hanafin in its No. 24 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.
Other changes include Gerhard Tweraser replacing Baptiste Moulin in the No. 19 Grasser Lamborghini, Julian Hanses being drafted in to the lineup of the No. 27 QMMF by Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, and Marco Pulcini filling in for Jonathan Hui aboard the No. 93 Ziggo Sport Tempesta Ferrari 296 GT3.
The Dimanic GT-run UNX Racing Porsche, which made its Endurance Cup debut at the Nürburgring, meanwhile has had its lineup fortified by Bastian Buus.
Adam Christodoulou continues aboard the Nordique Racing Mercedes-AMG, with Toyota’s Kazuto Kotaka — who missed the Nürburgring round due to an ankle injury — away on Super Formula duties in Japan.
Amid these changes, the Pro class remains at 17 cars for Barcelona, the Gold Cup is down to eight cars from ten, the Silver Cup is up to 19 cars from 17, while the Bronze Cup shrinks by one to 17 cars.
The 3 Hours of Barcelona is due to get underway at 3 p.m. local time (9 a.m. EDT) on Sunday Oct. 12.
