Alex Aka set the fastest time for Tresor Attempto Racing in the Friday evening warmup session ahead of the 78th CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
Aka, piloting the No. 99 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, posted a 2:17.832 that put him 0.076 seconds clear of Maximilian Paul’s No. 333 Paul Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
Mathieu Jaminet was third in the No. 18 Dinamic GT Porsche 911 GT3 R, followed by the No. 63 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini of Mirko Bortolotti and the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo driven by Philip Ellis.
Loek Hartog slotted into sixth ahead of the No. 59 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo that took pole position earlier on Friday, with the No. 48 Winward Mercedes-AMG eighth courtesy of Maro Engel.
The overall top ten was completed by the No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 and No. 17 Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed entry.
The 30-minute session, the final one before the race kicks off on Saturday afternoon, went by without any notable incidents, except for a stoppage for the No. 66 Tresor Attempto Audi coming out of Bruxelles.
The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa starts Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CEST (10:30 a.m. EST) .
