Motorbase Performance has revealed its driver lineup that will run under the Oman Racing Team banner in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
Michael Caine and Oman-based Ahmad Al Harthy return to the team and will add a Blancpain Endurance Series program to their commitments in British GT, where they will be joined by Stephen Jelly in the Pro Cup.
The David Bartrum-led team switched from Porsche to Aston Martin during the off-season and already completed a winter testing program with the new V12 Vantage GT3 at Poritmao, Paul Ricard and Snetterton.
“We’re in the pro-class and it’s going to be stiff competition, but Michael and Ahmad know each other very well and Stephen has slotted in very nicely with them so they make a really good trio”, said Motorbase Performance Team Principal David Bartrum
“Michael’s been exceptionally good in the car, a good strong team leader, shown the other guys the way forward and I think that makes for a brilliant line up for our first season in the Blancpain Endurance Series”.
