The BMW M4 GT3 has received a pre-race weight break ahead of the start of this afternoon’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, while the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II has added weight.
Confirmed in a Balance of Performance adjustment by SRO Motorsports Group late Friday, the BMW will be 10 kgs lighter for the Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup centerpiece, dropping from 1330 to 1320 kg in weight. It has also received a 2 mm reduction in minimum front ride height.
The Audi, meanwhile, has gained 5 kgs since Superpole and warmup, increasing to a minimum weight of 1315 kg.
It comes after two Audis — the No. 88 Tressor Attempto Racing and No. 25 Sainteloc Racing examples — qualified in the top-seven, while the highest qualifying BMW, the No. 998 ROWE Racing entry, was 13th in Superpole.
The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, which scored pole in the hands of GRT Grasser Racing Team’s Franck Perera, meanwhile, has received a minimum rear wing angle adjustment although is not subject to any weight changes.
Porsche’s 911 GT3 R has a 1.5 mm increase in minimum front ride height, along with a 3 mm reduction in minimum rear wing Z position.
The twice-around-the-clock enduro is set for a 4:30 p.m. local time start.
