Grasser Racing Team has drafted in Jeroen Bleekemolen to complete the two driver pairings that will pilot the team’s Lamborghini Gallardo FL2s in the Blancpain Sprint Series this season.
The Dutchman joins Hari Proczyk, Sascha Halek and Martin Matzke, who where already confirmed by the Austrian squad in December.
Bleekemolen will team up with Proczyk, who finished second in the 2013 FIA GT Series Pro-Am standings with the Gottfried Grasser-led squad. Matzke and Halek will drive the second black and gold Lamborghini.
Only the Slovakia Ring round of the Sprint Series would clash with Bleekemolen’s commitments in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship where he shares the Riley Motorsports SRT Viper GT3-R with Ben Keating, as the Virginia International Raceway race takes place during the same August 23-24 weekend.
Grasser Racing Team is currently preparing itself for the upcoming season with an intensive test program which includes Portimao, Nogaro, Zolder and Vallelunga, the former three all being venues at which the Blancpain Sprint Series will visit this year.
