Century Motorsport will switch its GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup effort to the Silver Cup category for its second season in the series.

The British squad debuted in the championship last year with a Bronze Cup entry built around Darren Leung, but now moves classes with an all new lineup for its No. 42 BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

Will Moore, a GT4 race winner in the British GT Championship, will share driving duties with Jarrod Waberski and Mex Jansen.

Out of the three drivers, Jansen boasts the most experience in the Endurance Cup, courtesy of a debut season with Walkenhorst Motorsport in Bronze Cup last year.

A former member of the Aston Martin Driver Academy, Jansen has previously raced BMW machinery in the Supercar Challenge in his native Netherlands.

Waberski, meanwhile, has one GTWC Europe appearance to his name, joining GSM AB1 GT3 Team during the Sprint Cup round in Valencia in 2023.

“GT World Challenge Europe is the biggest GT3-only championship in the world and we are extremely proud to enter a car for the Endurance Cup side of the Championship in full Century Motorsport capacity,” said team principal Nathan Freke.

“The profile and feel of the championship really is something quite special to be involved in and racing at the pinnacle of our sport has been our long-term goal, so to realise that in our 30th anniversary year is something quite special for us.

“Having worked in it last year, it has given us a good head start, and we are relishing the challenge.

“The BMW was a very strong package last year and with the EVO car coming out, we feel that we will have the strongest package available having just taken a collection of a brand new M4 GT3 EVO.

“Entering the Silver cup class seemed the right move for us, and I’m really excited about our driver line up.

“Jarrod, Will and Mex all have GT3 experience and have all had great results throughout their career.

“I firmly believe that this package is very strong, and we will be aiming high from the very start.”
