GRT Grasser Racing Team driver Jordan Pepper set the fastest time in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Free Practice at Magny-Cours.
The South African steered the No. 63 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 to a best lap of 1:37.192, outpacing the No. 80 Lionspeed GP Porsche 911 GT3 R of Ricardo Feller by 0.037 seconds.
Feller led Bronze Cup in the process aboard the car he shares with Gabriel Rindone.
Sven Mueller was third quickest aboard the No. 96 Rutronik Racing Porsche, followed by the No. 9 Boutsen VDS Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo piloted by Luca Stolz.
Thierry Vermeulen rounded out the overall top five, leading Gold Cup behind the wheel of the No. 69 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3.
Arthur Leclerc slotted into sixth with a late flyer aboard the No. 50 AF Corse Ferrari, outpacing the Silver Cup-leading No. 26 Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Lorens Lecertua by a mere 0.014 seconds.
Maro Engel picked up eighth for Winward Racing, with the top ten completed by the No. 112 CSA Racing McLaren 720S GT3 Evo and No. 76 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini.
Track action at Magny-Cours continues with Pre-Qualifying, scheduled for 8:45 p.m. CEST (2:45 p.m. EST).
