GRT Grasser Racing Team driver Jordan Pepper went fastest in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Pre-Qualifying at Misano.

Pepper, who recently won both the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa and took his maiden DTM win with the Gottfried Grasser-led outfit, reeled off a time of 1:32.393 aboard the No. 63 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.

In the process, he went just 0.004 seconds faster than the No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 that went quickest in Free Practice earlier on Friday.

The No. 777 Al Manar Racing by WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO again topped Gold Cup as Jens Klingmann slotted into third overall, followed by Arthur Leclerc’s No. 50 Ferrari.

Dennis Marschall rounded out the top five in the Bronze Cup-leading No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari, followed by the No. 32 Team WRT BMW and No. 14 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari in the hands of Konsta Lappalainen.

Raffaele Marciello slotted into eighth behind the wheel of the No. 46 Team WRT BMW, while a pair of Bronze Cup entries in the form of the No. 89 Lionspeed GP Porsche 911 GT3 R and No. 991 Paradine Competition BMW completed the overall top ten.

The fastest Silver Cup car was the No. 99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II in 12th overall.

In order to give all cars sufficient space in qualifying, the sessions have been split into two groups with ten minutes given to each group, similarly to what was used at the last Sprint Cup round at Zandvoort.

Qualifying for Race 1 is set to start Saturday at 12 p.m. CEST (6 a.m. CEST).
