The schedule for the 2018 Blancpain GT Series has been finalized with the Hungaroring race confirmed for Aug. 31-Sep. 2.
It will serve as the penultimate Blancpain GT Sprint Cup round of the season and has been moved one weekend later than this year’s race.
The schedule was originally announced at the Total 24 Hours of Spa in July before the Silverstone date was changed in order to avoid a clash with the Nürburgring 24 Hours.
Official test days at Circuit Paul Ricard on March 13-14 will start the season ahead of the first round at Zolder on April 6-8.
Five Sprint Cup and five Endurance Cup rounds will take place ahead of the finale which will again be held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sep. 29-30.
