Mercedes-AMG and Lamborghini have received weight increases as part of a pre-race Balance of Performance adjustment for the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup opener at Paul Ricard, while Aston Martin, Audi and Ferrari have received weight breaks.
Confirmed as part of a bulletin issued by SRO Motorsports Group on Saturday, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, which locked out the front row in qualifying, has seen its weight increased by 10 kg, going from 1340 to 1350 kilograms.
A similar adjustment has been made to the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, which also now sits at 1350 kg.
Meanwhile, three brands have been given a weight break ahead of the six-hour race, with Aston Martin receiving the largest reduction.
The British brand has seen the total weight for its cars reduced from 1305 to 1290 kgs, receiving a weight break of 15 kgs in the process.
Audi and Ferrari, meanwhile, both receive a reduction of 10 kgs each and now weigh in at 1295 and 1315 kgs, respectively.
