Matthieu Vaxiviere is the latest driver to be added to R-Motorsport’s lineup for its two-car Aston Martin Vantage GT3 assault on the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.
The Frenchman has GT3 experience in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and Asian Le Mans Series and co-drove TDS Racing’s Oreca 07 Gibson in the FIA World Endurance Championship last year.
“I look forward to starting my collaboration on this fantastic project,” he said.
“Not only because Aston Martin has a very rich history in motorsport, but also for this great opportunity to ride for this brand in the company of top drivers in a great team.
“I want to thank Dr Kamelger and Dr Baeziger for trusting me. I take this opportunity to thank Jota and Arden for giving me this incredible opportunity. I will give everything I have. ”
The 23-year-old Frenchman joins previously-announced drivers Maxime Martin, Nicki Thiim, Alex Brundle and Jake Dennis in the lineup with one seat left to fill.
