Belgian Audi Club Team WRT has finalized its driver lineups for this weekend. Christopher Mies will join Kelvin van der Linde and Stéphane Richelmi on the No. 3 R8 LMS ultra, the latter moving over from the No. 2, which will be a factory supported second generation R8 in Monza, driven by Frank Stippler, Stéphane Ortelli and Nico Müller.
Meanwhile, Pieter Schothorst replaces Laurent Pasquali on the No. 4 car, which will be entered without the support of the Belgian Audi Club in the Pro-Am Cup. The 23-year-old McGregor-backed Dutchman makes the switch from the Porsche Supercup and joins fellow countryman Max Koebolt and Sacha Bottemanne.
ROWE Racing has completed the lineup on its second Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 (No. 98), as the 17-year-old Dane Nicolai Sylvest joins fellow F3 convert Indy Dontje. Mercedes DTM driver Daniel Juncadella will lead the trio on the Astana sponsored car.
Miguel Toril will switch from Sprint to Endurance this year after Fortec Motorsports recently closed its GT division. The Spaniard will still compete behind the wheel of a Mercedes SLS, but run by the German team Car Collection Motorsport. Toril joins Kenneth Heyer and Peter Schmidt in the No. 33 SLS AMG GT3 for a full season in the Pro-Am Cup.
Eduardo Mortara is so far the first and only name confirmed on the Pro Cup-entered Saintéloc Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra GT3. The Italian DTM driver won the Daytona 24 Hours with an Audi R8 LMS back in 2013.
