Don’t care if there isn’t a significant increase in entries, next season is already looking so much better than the past few.

These pictures cement the Mazda as my favorite. But the Caddys look good, too, esp. in the AER colors. The predominantly-black WTR is kinda boring.

The picture of the 911 is telling.

Looking forward to the new season.

Last couple of years between the V8 DPs and the smaller displacement P2s, the P2s were losing out in traffic and off initial acceleration due to less torque. This year, the Caddy DPi’s have almost the same V8 and the Mazdas have the same 2.0L turbo. Are we going to see the same advantage to the Caddy’s in traffic/initial acceleration?

The Caddys are much lighter than the Corvette DP though, so that means less traction. Can’t just stomp on the pedal and get all that torque anymore. The drivers had already said that it wont be as easy as the DP.

If anything, advantage old P2 teams because the drivers will know how to manage traffic better than just stomp and go.

The DPI looks sharp! Hopefully they will race like they look. This will be the 5th Daytona I will not be able to attend since I started back to school. Hopefully I will make it to Road America. This season is looking pretty good. AKA Racer7.

Great shot of the Porsche with the rear bumper off!
