As anticipated, a number of late entries have pushed the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge field for the Road America round of the season, Round 7, from 30 cars on the tentative first entry list up to 42 now.

ENTRY LIST: CTSC at Road America

Rum Bum Racing highlights the GS additions, which along with a pair of Racers’ Edge Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302s, a single Automatic Racing Aston Martin Vantage and the returning CJ Wilson Racing Porsche 911, brings the class up to 15 cars.

In ST, Rennsport One continues its season-long pattern of appearing on the second draft of entry lists.

The rotating lineup in the team’s No. 18 Porsche Cayman now sees Remo Ruscitti and Lars Viljoen listed; Ruscitti raced a Cayman in 2014, but has spent several 2015 races in LAP Motorsports’ MINI JCW.

Both Burton Racing cars are added, with the team’s second TrimTex-backed BMW 128i listed to feature series debutante and local driver Josh Bilicki along with Joe Koenig. The Rebel Rock Racing Porsche Caymans also join the field to make for a 27-car ST grid.

The 42-car field puts the Continental Tire Challenge grid more in line with where it’s been this year, although still short of where it has been in recent years.
