David Pittard has replaced Joey Foster in Lanan Racing’s British GT lineup for 2017, joining Alex Reed in the team’s Ginetta G55 GT4.
The Bedfordshire-based team took the class win at Spa-Francorchamps last year, before going on to secure sixth place in the drivers’ standings with its No. 51 Ginetta.
Pittard’s previous experience includes the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, in which he finished runner-up overall with five race wins in the 2014 series.
“I’m very excited to be partnering Alex Reed, Motorsport News’ GT4 2016 driver of the year,” Pittard said. “I’m equally excited to join Lanan Racing with their pedigree in single seaters and prototypes.
“Their impressive debut season in GTs with the Ginetta underlines their engineering and development skills.”
