The McLaren 570S GT4 has been hit with multiple Balance of Performance adjustments ahead of next weekend’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge round at Watkins Glen International.

Confirmed by IMSA on Monday, the McLaren will have a 40 kg increase in minimum weight as well as a 20 mm increase in minimum ride height.

It comes after AWA’s second win in the first three races of the season last time out with its McLaren with Kuno Wittmer and subbing co-driver Chris Green.

Both AWA and Motorsports In Action are expected to be joined by a third McLaren entrant at The Glen.

Other BoP changes ahead of the four-hour enduro include a 25 kg weight addition for the Toyota GR Supra GT4, fuel capacity increases for both the Mercedes-AMG GT4 and Ford Mustang GT4, which will also run with an unrestricted intake.

The Mercedes will receive a change to SRO’s 2019 engine map 4.

The only change in the IMSA-managed BoP in TCR is a 20 kg weight increase for the Honda Civic Type-R TCR, which will now be running in 2021 Evo spec.
