Celso Neto has been the first confirmed driver in Stallion Motorsports’ new CUPRA Leon VZ TCR entry in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

The 2025-26 IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship winner will make the switch from LA Honda World Racing to the Brazilian squad, which recently confirmed its entry in partnership with Gou Racing.

Neto, also Brazilian, finished fourth in this year’s TCR standings driving alongside Ryan Eversley in an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR.

“The season with Precision Racing LA was really special,” said Neto. “Driving alongside Ryan Eversley was a huge opportunity. I learned every day, on track, with setup, with approach.

“I’m very grateful to the team for all the support and I wish them success. It was an important cycle in my career.”

Neto feels moving over to the sister Volkswagen brand will be an easy transition.

“The new CUPRA Leon VZ TCR is the evolution of the Audi platform,” he said. “It’s like a third-generation Audi. I already feel at home. It’s the perfect combination to take advantage of everything we learned in the 2025 season.”

Leading the project is engineer and businessman Pedro Moises, a well-known figure in Brazilian endurance racing and the international paddock.

“Entering IMSA represents both a dream and a responsibility,” stated Moises. “Our goal is not just to compete, but to build a lasting bridge between the motorsports communities of Brazil and the United States.

“IMSA represents professionalism, competition, and passion. Everything that Stallion Motorsports seeks to represent.”

Neto added: “Seeing a genuinely Brazilian team reach the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge fills me with pride.

“Representing this project, being part of this history, and helping to build something great for Brazil in international motorsports is an enormous joy.

“We’re working to achieve very positive results together.”
