Stallion Motorsports will make its IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge debut in 2026, fielding a CUPRA Leon VZ TCR in partnership with Gou Racing.
The Orlando-based squad will enter a single car, debuting in January’s season opener at Daytona International Speedway, with the aim to add a second car in 2027.
The team is spearheaded by Brazilian Pedro Moises, an engineer and entrepreneur with previous experience in both endurance racing as well as TCR competition.
“Joining IMSA represents both a dream and a responsibility,” said Moises.
“Our goal is not only to compete, but to build a lasting bridge between Brazil and the U.S. motorsport communities. IMSA stands for professionalism, competition, and passion — everything Stallion Motorsports strives to represent.”
The program will be run in partnership with Gou Racing, which gave CUPRA its Pilot Challenge debut earlier this year.
According to a team statement, the program will be operated by personnel “with extensive experience across TCR South America, TCR Spain, TCR World Tour, and other international touring car platforms.”
CUPRA enjoyed a successful debut season in Pilot Challenge competition, with Gou Racing giving the car its debut at Daytona before Victor Gonzalez Racing Team became the second team to represent the Spanish brand after a mid-season manufacturer switch.
While Gou delivered CUPRA’s first series podium with a third-placed finish at Virginia International Raceway, VGRT closed out the season with back-to-back class victories for Eric Powell and Tyler Gonzalez at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
