KohR Motorsports will welcome two-time Mustang Challenge champion Robert Noaker and Le Mans Invitational winner Cameron McLeod to its ranks for the penultimate IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge round at Indianapolis, with the duo teaming up aboard the team’s second Ford Mustang GT4.
KohR’s second Mustang GT4 has seen a rotating lineup of drivers throughout the Pilot Challenge season. Nick Persing and Sam Paley drove the car at the most recent round at Virginia International Raceway.
Noaker and McLeod will step aboard the No. 60 car at Indianapolis, having turned heads in Ford Racing’s single-make Mustang Challenge.
Noaker recently wrapped up his second consecutive Mustang Challenge Dark Horse title at Circuit of The Americas, while McLeod swept the weekend in June’s Le Mans Invitational, notably by beating Noaker in Race 2.
For Ford Racing Junior Team driver Noaker, joining KohR means he will return to Pilot Challenge competition for the first time since 2021, when he drove for Atlanta Speedwerks in the TCR category and notably took a class win as part of that year’s double header at Watkins Glen.
McLeod, for his part, has not raced in Pilot Challenge before but has gained GT4 experience through the Monochrome GT4 Australia as well as the Michelin 24H Series.
KohR’s No. 59 Mustang GT4, meanwhile, will feature the regular lineup of Bob Michaelian and Billy Johnson at Indianapolis.
