Daytona International Speedway announced today that the 65th running of the Rolex 24 will take place Jan. 28-31, 2027. The 2027 edition of the Roar Before the Rolex 24 will be from Jan. 22-24.
“With so many fans traveling from all 50 states and dozens of countries for North America’s most prestigious sports car race, we wanted to give fans plenty of time to make their travel and lodging plans for the 2027 Rolex 24,” said track president Frank Kelleher.
“This event continues to showcase an incredible twice-around-the-clock marathon with the world’s top drivers and teams.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming fans back to the ‘World Center of Racing’ for the 64th running of the Rolex 24 next weekend.”
The date change aligns more naturally with the overall Daytona International Speedway event calendar, including the 69th running of the Daytona 500, which will move off its traditional Presidents’ Day weekend and take place on Feb. 21, 2027.
Last year, Porsche Penske Motorsport won its second consecutive Rolex 24.
This year’s race is set to start on Sat, Jan. 24, at 1:40 p.m. ET with live coverage on NBC and Peacock.
