A total of 32 cars are set to take part in next weekend’s Hyundai Monterey Sports Car Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

The entry list for the fourth round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season was released Wednesday by the sanctioning body, featuring six cars each in DPi, LMP2 and GTD Pro, along with 14 GTD entries.

The LMP2 class returns to action for the first time since last month’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring for its first two-hour and 40-minute race of the season, featuring two-driver lineups.

Of note, Josh Pierson is confirmed in the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson alongside Patrick Kelly, in what is understood to be a lineup for the LMP2 sprint races.

While there are no changes to the DPi and GTD Pro grids since Long Beach, GTD sees the return of Alegra Motorsports’ Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for Michael De Quesada and Daniel Morad while Marco Holzer will pair up with Jaden Conwright in NTE Sport’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, as previously announced.

GMG Racing, meanwhile, will undertake its second consecutive GTD start with Kyle Washington and James Sofronas in their Porsche 911 GT3 R, as part of a triple-duty weekend for Washington that will also compete in Michelin Pilot Challenge and Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands.

As expected, the No. 59 Crucial Motorsports McLaren 720S GT3 nor the No. 66 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 are listed to take part after on-offs at Long Beach.

Track action gets underway on Friday, April 29 with the race set to air live on NBC on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
