IMSA has set the Balance of Performance for the next three WeatherTech SportsCar Championship events in the GT classes, confirming weight and power adjustments for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and a weight break to the Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Released on Thursday, the Mercedes will receive a 10 kg increase in minimum weight for Lime Rock Park, the IMSA-sanctioned test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 28-29, as well as the Road America race, while offset by a power increase in the range of 5.9-horsepower.

The Type-992 Porsche, meanwhile, has been given a 20 kg weight break from its configuration run in last weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

No changes have been made to any other GT cars for the stretch of events, in what marks a first for the sanctioning body in confirming BoP for multiple races.

BoP figures for the GTP class at its next round at Road America, meanwhile, have yet to be confirmed.
