Kaiser to Continue with Juncos for Mid-Ohio

Juncos Racing confirmed Wednesday that Kyle Kaiser will rejoin to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship lineup for this weekend’s race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Kaiser will return to the No. 50 Cadillac DPi-V.R car alongside teammate Will Owen, marking his third start in four races so far this season.

Kaiser and Owen recently teamed up in the Bubba Burger Sports Car Grand Prix at Long Beach last month, delivering the team its best finish since joining the championship. Kaiser also gave Juncos Racing their first laps lead, leading 14 of the 73 laps on the streets of Long Beach.

“I’m so glad to be back in the No. 50 Juncos Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R car for Mid-Ohio,” said Kaiser.

“I’m fortunate to have a lot of experience racing there in open wheel cars and I’m excited to utilize that experience this weekend. I really enjoy working with Will and I’m looking forward to build off of what we accomplished at Long Beach. Ready to get to work!”

Owen added: “Its also great news that Kyle is joining us too; we made a good team at Long Beach and the team found some momentum there. Hopefully we can keep that up this weekend!”
