Charles Milesi will replace Mathias Beche in TDS Racing’s LMP2 entry for this weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

The French squad revealed on social media this morning that the Alpine FIA World Endurance Championship star, who served as the team’s fourth driver for January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, will take Beche’s seat alongside David Heinemeier Hansson and Tobi Lutke.

Beche revealed on Instagram that he has been dealing with symptoms of long COVID and “some health issues” that has “forced me to step back and take a difficult decision.”

“I [know] that I had to give myself the time to fully recover if I [want] to come back at my best,” he wrote.

“[I’m] grateful to be back training again, with a lot of motivation and perspective.”

Beche had been announced as the full season driver in the car, alongside FIA Bronze-rated Lutke.

Track action for the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season gets underway on Thursday.
