Sven Mueller and Dillon Machavern have been confirmed as the final two drivers in RS1’s lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, as part of the team’s new venture into the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.
Announced on Thursday via social media, Porsche-contracted driver and Silver-rated Machavern join the previously announced Jan Heylen and Erik Zitza in the Florida-based squad’s No. 28 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener.
The RS1 entry is part of a 19-car GTD field for the race and leaves only a handful of other teams yet to announce its full lineups for the race.
Both the No. 61 Team Tonis Oreca 07 Gibson and No. 36 DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R have yet to confirm any of its drivers, while the fourth pilot in the No. 19 Van der Steur Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo has yet to be firmed up, alongside a potential fourth in Team RLL’s GTD Pro class McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.
The finalized entry list for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 is expected to be released on Wednesday.
