Felipe Nasr continued to set the pace at Long Beach with the No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R leading the way in Friday’s second and final practice session for IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competitors.

The Brazilian improved on his morning time to reel off a 1:11.963 lap in the Whelen Engineering entry late in the hour-plus scheduled session.

It was 0.162 seconds quicker than the No. 5 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac of Loic Duval, with Kevin Magnussen completing a Cadillac sweep of the top three quickest times.

The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05 of Filipe Albuquerque was best of the rest in fourth, with Oliver Jarvis fifth in the No. 55 Mazda RT24-P, who made a late-session improvement.

It came just as the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura DPi, which returned to action in the final 15 minutes after sustaining crash damage in Practice 1, spun in the hands of Dane Cameron to bring out another session-ending red flag.

The red came out with less than 2 minutes remaining on the clock.

GT Le Mans was led by the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R of Jordan Taylor, who led a Corvette Racing sweep in class over the No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19.

Patrick Long paced GT Daytona again, with the Wright Motorsports driver recording a 1:20.089 in his No. 16 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

It was 0.026 seconds quicker than the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche of Zach Robichon, with Bryan Sellers third in class in the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.

Qualifying is set to get underway at 4:50 p.m. PT.
