Milos Pavlovic has completed Precision Performance Motorsport’s lineup for next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, in the team’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut race.
Pavlovic, a former Lamborghini World Final champion, joins the previously confirmed Steve Dunn, Don Yount and Sunoco Whelen Challenge Winner Linus Lundqvist in the No. 47 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.
It will mark the Serbian driver’s second Rolex 24 start, after taking part in the race in 2017 in a Grasser Racing Team-run Lamborghini.
“I’m really happy to be joining PPM and I really look forward to race in the Rolex 24 at Daytona again,” said Pavlovic. “This is my first race with an American team and something I am truly excited about, as I believe that our combined experience and will to succeed will make a difference.”
Team manager Sonny Voelker believes adding a championship-winning Lamborghini driver to its lineup will pay dividends.
“Milos has gelled really well with the team and has been able to assist with coaching and getting the other drivers up to speed,” she said. “He’s just been a delight. We’re all looking forward to the end of the month!”
It’s unclear the status of Brandon Gdovic, son of team owner Rick, who had taken part in the Roar Before the Rolex 24 in the car.
Up to five drivers are able to be nominated per car in the GT Daytona class.
