Bryan Sellers laid down the quickest time in warmup for this afternoon’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.
IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup championship-elect Sellers reeled off a 1:45.741 lap time in the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 to edge out Marco Holzer’s NTE Sport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo by 0.114 seconds.
The No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jan Heylen was third quickest overall and in the GTD class.
GTD Pro was led by the No. 25 Team RLL BMW of John Edwards, who edged out the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 of Jack Hawksworth and Antonio Garcia’s No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R GTD.
Seventeen of the 18 cars turned laps, with the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche electing to sit out the 20-minute session, which ran without incident.
