Snow Claims Pole for Michelin GT Challenge

Madison Snow will start Sunday’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway from the pole after storming to the top position in qualifying on Saturday, the first for Paul Miller Racing in GTD Pro.

Snow, in the No. 1 BMW M4 GT3, reeled off a best time of 1:43.206 to edge out the No. 3 Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Antonio Garcia by 0.140 seconds.

Harry Tincknell gave Ford Multimatic Motorsports its best qualifying performance to date, slotting his No. 64 Ford Mustang GT3 in third, followed by teammate Joey Hand in fourth.

Tommy Milner completed the top-five overall and in GTD Pro in the No. 4 Corvette.

GTD pole honors went to Giammarco Levorato in the No. 55 Proton Competition Mustang GT3, giving the car its first pole position in global competition, and setting the sixth quickest time in the process.

Levorato edged out the No. 32 Korthoff Preston Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo by 0.206 seconds, with Elliott Skeer set to start third in class in the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The Michelin GT Challenge at VIR takes the green flag Sunday at 12:10 p.m. EDT with live coverage on USA Network, Peacock and IMSA Radio.
