Nick Tandy was quickest in final practice for this afternoon’s Chevrolet Detroit Sports Car Classic, putting Porsche Penske Motorsport on top of the time sheets for the first time this weekend.
Tandy’s 1:08.552 lap time was 0.046 seconds quicker than a late improvement by Dries Vanthoor in the No. 24 Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8.
Mathieu Jaminet was third quickest in the 20-minute session, which ran without any major incidents.
GTD Pro was led by the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 of Marco Mapelli.
