Korthoff Preston Motorsports will field an unchanged GTD lineup in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year, spearheaded by Mercedes-AMG factory driver Mikael Grenier.
Grenier will resume his full season partnership with Mike Skeen at the wheel of the No. 32 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. The duo picked up a pair of class podiums at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America en route to seventh in the GTD standings.
They will be joined by Kenton Koch, who will return to his role as the third driver for the endurance rounds.
Skeen, Grenier and Koch narrowly beat the No. 27 The Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of Ian James, Marco Sorensen and Roman De Angelis to the Michelin Endurance Cup title this season, finishing just three points ahead at the Motul Petit Le Mans season finale.
The lineup will be completed at the Rolex 24 at Daytona by a second Mercedes-AMG factory driver in the form of Maximilian Goetz.
“I am really looking forward to racing again with a team that I really enjoy racing with,” said Goetz.
“Last year at Daytona we had the lead for many, many hours, so there is great potential in the driver lineup and on the engineer and mechanics side.
“It is on my bucket list to win Daytona, so I am really looking forward to catching up with the guys soon to get ready for this big race.”
The team, which underwent a rebrand partway through the 2023 campaign, will roll out a new Mercedes-AMG chassis at next month’s IMSA-sanctioned test at Daytona International Speedway.
