Trent Hindman and Taylor Proto scored pole position for the final two Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America races of the season at Vallelunga.

Hindman was second fastest overall in the first 20-minute qualifying session, shared with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia competitors, turning in a fast lap of 1:31.826 in the No. 101 machine for Wayne Taylor Racing to secure pole for Race 1.

The reigning Lamborghini World Final co-champion was 0.641 seconds clear of his closest North American competitor, Corey Lewis, who will start on the outside of the front row in Race 1 for Change Racing.

Edoardo Piscopo, who along with three other drivers enters the weekend trailing Lewis and his co-driver Madison Snow by seven points in the Pro Driver Championship, will start third.

Class poles in Race 1 went to Damon Ockey of US Racetronics in Am, Justin Price of Dream Racing Motorsport in Lamborghini Cup, and Wayne Taylor Racing’s William Hubbell in Pro-Am.

Race 2 qualifying saw Proto score the pole position for the season finale in the US Racetronics No. 150 entry, narrowly edging Jonathan Cecotto of Wayne Taylor Racing for the class pole.

Ryan Hardwick impressed with a lap that was good enough for third in the North American field and pole position in the Am category, while Madison Snow completed the top four.

Other class poles went to Alex Popow for Wayne Taylor Racing, while P1 Motorsport’s Brett Meredith took the Lamborghini Cup pole for Race 2.

Both races will be held Friday with Race 1 scheduled for 9 a.m. local time and Race 2 to follow at 1 p.m.

The North American and Asian series will share the track for both races but will have separate starts.
