Jeremy Fletcher broke Robert Noaker Racing’s four-race pole streak in Mustang Challenge competition, taking his McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R to top qualifying honors at Road America.

Fletcher, in the No. 22 Mustang, reeled off a best lap of 2:22.691 in Friday’s 15-minute session to edge out the No. 26 Southern Paley Motorsports entry of Sam Paley by 0.114 seconds.

RNR teammates Robert Noaker and Tyler Maxson qualified third and fourth, respectively, ahead of practice pace-setter Brandon Gdovic in the No. 46 Precision Performance Motorsports Mustang.

Zachry Lee bounced back from an incident in Practice 2 to take the class pole in Dark Horse Legends, for drivers 45 years old and up.

Lee’s 1:23.985 in his No. 48 McCumbee McAleer entry put him an impressive seventh overall in the 27-car entry.

All but two cars set qualifying times, with the No. 1 Amerasian Fragrance Competition Motorsports entry of Greg Bennett and Jack Lewis’ Mustang not setting any times.

Race 1 gets underway Saturday at 8:50 a.m. CDT with live coverage on Peacock, IMSA.tv. and the Ford Performance YouTube channel.
