Riley Dickinson led a Kellymoss 1-2 in opening Porsche Carrera Cup North America practice for this weekend’s pair of races at Road America.

The 2023 Pro class champion set a best lap of 2:09.502 to edge out teammate Aaron Jeansonne by 0.160 seconds.

Tyler Maxson, of Topp Racing, was third quickest, followed by JDX Racing’s Zachary Vanier and Jimmy Llibre, of ACI Motorsports, who rounded out the top-five.

Championship contender Ryan Yardley, meanwhile, could only muster the sixth quickest time in his Topp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, ahead of Pro-Am class pace-setter Alan Metni in the No. 99 Kellymoss Porsche.

Rob Walker was the quickest in the Masters class, pipping Ruckus Racing’s Scott Blind by 0.158 seconds.

The session ran without any red flags, although the No. 12 JTR Motorsports Engineering Porsche of Peter Atwater went off course in Turn 10 and continued.

Practice 2 is on tap for Friday at 10. a.m. CST.
