ACI Motorsports has added a sixth Porsche 911 Cup to its efforts in Porsche Carrera Cup North America this year, naming 18-year-old Janne Stiak to its lineup.

Stiak, a former Carrera Cup Middle East champion and race winner in Carrera Cup Germany, will make his U.S. racing debut with the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based squad in a Pro class entry.

In addition to Carrera Cup Germany, the German rising star completed a season of Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup last year, finishing tenth in the highly competitive single-make seires.

“I’m very proud to join ACI Motorsports and bring my racing to America,” said Stiak. “It’s an exciting challenge, and I’m looking forward to representing the team and our partners while learning, competing at a different level. I can’t wait to show what we can achieve together on the track.”

Team owner Curt Swearingin added: “We’re excited to add Janne to the program He brings outstanding pace, but he also represents the continued growth of our operation, our people, our equipment, and our partnerships.

“Janne adds to everything we’re building at ACI and elevates the program.”

The Carrera Cup North America season kicks off at Sebring next month.
