Porsche Motorsport North America has unveiled the 2025 calendar for Porsche Carrera Cup North America, featuring an unchanged schedule that again includes races on three Formula 1 weekends, along with classic venues supporting the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Confirmed on Monday, the eight-round, 16-race season will again kick off at Sebring International Raceway in March, as part of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring weekend, before heading to Miami International Autodrome for the first of three F1 support events.

Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and Circuit of The Americas will also again play host to Porsche’s premier single-make series in North America on F1 events, along with returning venues to Watkins Glen International, Road America, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta as part of the WeatherTech Championship and will count towards the ANDIAL Cup.

Each race will again be 40 minutes in length, with cars utilizing Yokohama Advan race tires.

“The goal in car setup is to find a fast balance and then fine-tune,” said Porsche Motorsport North America President and CEO Volker Holzmeyer.

“We have carried the same philosophy to our scheduling for next season. We are fine-tuning to maximize what is already very good.

“The schedules for each of the one-make series have proven very popular with our competitors and fans so we want to continue with this successful formula, which we have enhanced from year to year by incorporating our series into highlight events such as NASCAR, Indy Car and Formula 1 to find the best mix.

“We have received positive feedback from the competitors, tracks and our partners at each level with this approach. We are looking forward to the new season opening, in traditional fashion, at Sebring in March.”

In addition to Carrera Cup, PMNA confirmed the return of the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America schedule, which will feature events at Sebring, Sonoma Raceway, COTA and Road Atlanta as part of the USAC-sanctioned Porsche Sprint Challenge North America campaign that was already confirmed earlier this month.
