Land-Motorsport has confirmed a switch to Porsche, just three days after officially parting ways from Audi following a ten-year stint.
The veteran German squad, which was a well-known entrant of Porsche 911 GT3 Cups in Carrera Cup competition as well as running 911s in VLN prior to its switch to the four-rings in 2016, will return to the brand with the Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo beginning next year.
The team’s program has yet to be announced although could be see a continuation in DTM.
The Christian Land-run organization fielded an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II this season at the last minute for Porsche-contracted driver Ricardo Feller, after a deal with Allied Racing fell through.
Feller finished 11th in the drivers’ championship, highlighted by a win in the second race at the Red Bull Ring.
