New BMW M4 GT4 Presented Ahead of 2023 Customer Debut

BMW’s new M4 GT4 has gone on sale to customers ahead of its 2023 debut.

The official presentation of the car, which has already completed a test race in NLS competition, occurred on Friday at Virginia International Raceway, site of this weekend’s SRO America event.

Production of the BMW M4 GT4 will begin in October with a price 187,000 euros ($196,000 USD).

“We took on the challenge to develop a successor to the highly successful first-generation BMW M4 GT4”, said BMW M CEO Franciscus van Meel.

“Using a wide range of customer feedback, our experienced development team and the new sixth generation BMW M4 based production car has led to a faster, even more reliable and very emotional all new BMW M4 GT4.”

The car is entering the “final phase” of testing, which will include participation in the next NLS event as well as Creventic’s Hankook 24H Portimao in July.

It will join the BMW M4 GT3 as the German manufacturer’s customer offerings in GT competition worldwide.
