A local GTE-Am entry and an expanded LMP2 effort are among the additions to the entry list for next month’s Six Hours of Fuji, the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Twenty eight cars are due to take part in the Japanese round, held at the historic 2.835-mile circuit, including the leading LMP1-H entries from Audi, Porsche and Toyota.

The LMP1-L class will again see a three-car entry, with Pierre Kaffer slated to make his debut in the Lotus P01/01 AER alongside James Rossiter and a to-be-announced third driver.
LMP2 sees the expected addition of an OAK Racing Morgan-Judd for Keiko Ihara, who will also take part in the Shanghai round in November with David Cheng. Ihara’s co-drivers for Japan have yet to be determined.
The GTE-Pro class remains unchanged, except for Porsche Team Manthey’s driver shuffle, which was announced on Tuesday, that sees Richard Lietz team with Joerg Bergmeister in the No. 91 Porsche 911 RSR and Frenchmen Patrick Pilet and Fred Makowiecki in the No. 92 car.
Team Taisan, meanwhile, has joined the GTE-Am grid with its Ferrari F458 Italia for the Japanese trio of Shinji Nakano, Akira Lida and Hiroshi Koizumi.
The Six Hours of Fuji is set for Oct. 10-12.
