A total of 32 cars are set for next weekend’s Six Hours of Shanghai, the penultimate round of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season.
Championships can be crowned in two categories in China, with Porsche closing in on the Manufacturers World Championship in LMP1 and SMP Racing poised to lock up top honors in GTE-Am.
ENTRY LIST: Six Hours of Shanghai
The rest of the title races, meanwhile, are expected to go down to the final race in Bahrain next month.
For Shanghai, there are only a few notable changes in the entry list, including the addition of Pegasus Racing, which makes its regular season WEC debut with a Morgan Nissan for David Cheng, Ho-Pin Tung and a third yet-to-be-announced driver.
The addition brings the LMP2 grid up to nine entries, with Signatech-Alpine also yet to nominate its third driver following Vincent Capillaire’s six-race program with the French team coming to an end in Fuji.
Stefan Muecke will also not return to WEC competition this year, with the German driver not listed in any of the Aston Martin Racing entries for Shanghai, and Muecke having previously been confirmed to take part in the FIA GT World Cup, which takes place on the same weekend as Bahrain.
Richie Stanaway will return to AMR after missing the Fuji round, while Nicki Thiim and Klaus Bachler are back in the championship as well, with AMR and Abu Dhabi Proton Racing, respectively, after multi-race absences due to clashes with other series.
The FIA WEC Six Hours of Shanghai is set for Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
