BMW has officially unveiled the EVO-spec of its M4 GT3 ahead of the car’s 2025 debut, while at the same time announcing that an updated version of its GT4 car will debut next year.

As first reported by Sportscar365, the Munich brand will roll out the M4 GT3 EVO to its global customer base in 2025, after the initial three-year cycle of the original car has been completed.

It marks the first time BMW has announced and rolled out an Evo kit to its customers, with development led by factory drivers Augusto Farfus, Jens Klingmann and Bruno Spengler.

As stated by BMW and previously outlined by motorsport boss Andreas Roos, the brand has mainly focused on drivability, efficiency and reliability as opposed to seeking performance gains.

Visually, the M4 GT3 EVO features revised, smaller wing mirrors as well as larger air outlet on the front wheel arches. Additionally, an altered adjustment range of the rear wing offers greater aerodynamic efficiency.

Meanwhile, the head- and taillights on the Evo-spec car have also been revised compared to its predecessor.

Underneath, the car has been fitted with new anti-roll bars on both the front and rear axles, while larger rear brake discs and a new, easier to adjust differential have also been implemented.

BMW has stated that the net price for the car is €578,000 ($628,655 USD).

“Our engineers have listened very carefully to the feedback from our customers during the development of the EVO cars,” said Bjorn Lellmann, BMW M Motorsport’s Head of Customer Racing.

“The result, in our view, are models that make it even more possible to be consistently close to the limit without taking too much risk, exactly what drivers of all classes need to be fast.

“Our goal is to win the very big races with our BMW M4 GT3 EVO and at the same time provide every BMW M Motorsport customer with a package that offers maximum chances of success.”

M4 GT4 EVO Announced; Available to Customers From 2025

Additionally, BMW has announced that an Evo-spec version of its GT4 car will be available to customers from 2025.

The current M4 GT4 made its customer racing debut last year, with U.S. squad Turner Motorsport most notably winning the GS title in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in the car’s debut season.

Other notable successes include a GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club championship for Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport, while Zac Anderson won the Silver Cup title in Pirelli GT4 America.

Most recently, Random Vandals Racing duo Kenton Koch and Kevin Boehm drove their M4 GT4 to victory in the series’ first-ever three-hour endurance race at Circuit of The Americas.

While the M4 GT4 EVO will be on display alongside its bigger sibling at the ring°boulevard during the N24 weekend, a BMW spokesperson told Sportscar365 that details on the updated car will be revealed at a later date.
