Charlie Eastwood has signed a two-year extension to remain a part of Corvette Racing’s roster of factory drivers until the end of 2027.
The Belfast native confirmed via a post on social media that he will head into a second tenure as a works driver with GM, off the back of a successful, initial term of two years.
Eastwood first joined GM’s books in 2024 as the brand rolled out its Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R program, signing with the brand after breaking through into international endurance racing with Aston Martin.
In his first two seasons, Eastwood competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series with TF Sport, while also joining DXDT Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Highlights include a last-lap LMGT3 class win in September’s 6 Hours of Fuji, as well as securing the class title in ELMS alongside Hiroshi Koizumi and Rui Andrade.
Monday’s release of the provisional full season WEC entry list for the 2026 confirmed that Eastwood will continue to compete with the Tom Ferrier-led squad next year, being named as the first driver in the Racing Team Turkey by TF entry that is expected to also feature Salih Yoluc.
