Ferrari has become the latest manufacturer to provide a teaser image of its upcoming top-class prototype entry, with its yet-to-be-named Le Mans Hypercar previewed ahead of its 2023 debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Revealed Friday, on the eve of the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Italian manufacturer provided the “first details” of the car that will begin on-track testing in the “coming weeks.”
According to a statement, the car shows “strong design references” to the stylistic features within the manufacturer’s range of production cars, although only portions of the nose is visible in the render.
Ferrari’s head of Attivita Sportive GT department, Antonello Coletta, told Sportscar365 that it plans to conduct its rollout next month at Fiorano.
James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi, Miguel Molina, Antonio Fuoco, Nicklas Nielsen, Alessio Rovera and Davide Rigon recently tested an AF Corse-run Oreca 07 Gibson as part of the manufacturer’s LMH preparations.
